BHA is perfect for those with oily skin and blackheads. This toner contains less than 1% BHA, making it safe for all skin types.

Since it has active ingredients, it works well even without a cotton pad. But if you want to remove leftover sebum from your face wash, using a cotton pad is fine.
3. Avoid the eye area when applying.
4. If you have a hydrating toner, use it afterward to prevent dryness. Then proceed with your other skincare products (essence, serum, and ampoule).
5. If you're new to exfoliating toner, start by using it once a week. But if you're used to it, like me, you can use it daily, depending on your needs.
6. Use this exfoliating toner only at night. In the morning, don’t forget to apply sunscreen to avoid irritation.

My Experience

This product claims to clean and shrink pores. But did it work instantly when I first used it? No. It doesn't give immediate results. With regular use, you’ll start to see changes.

In the beginning, it helped with my acne. Any red bumps threatening to turn into pimples turned into whiteheads overnight and didn’t become full-blown pimples. Blackheads around my nose and open pores on my cheeks slowly reduced and disappeared. I’ve been using this toner for over a year, though not continuously, as I alternate it with other exfoliating toners that focus more on acne since my main skin issue is acne. Over time, my pores look smaller, and I rarely get pimples.

I usually use a cotton pad first to maximize sebum removal from my face wash. Then I reapply with my hands, patting it in. But I don’t recommend this double application for sensitive skin or for those new to exfoliating toners.

 

Conclusion

This product has a low BHA concentration, making it safe for all skin types. If you’re new to exfoliating toners, this one could be a good start. Unfortunately, it’s not available in a travel-size bottle yet, which would be more convenient.
