Some by Mi AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner [to be frankly, this toner is good to cure my acne]

By its name, "AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner", got me hooked right away, especially with the promise of a "30 Days Miracle." Does it really work for my acne during the 30-day period?

Anyway, this toner is the second toner I bought in the drugstore, and I have been repurchasing it three times now. I think you can guess how great it works on my skin. I love exfoliating toner that can be used daily, such as this one. Let’s dive into the details.

Packaging, texture, and aroma

Are we having the same thoughts about why acne skincare products always come in green packaging? As this one too. This green transparent bottle is wrapped with white paper-written product information around. It's really helpful where the main information and its claims are clearly stated.

The product is available in a 150-ml size. It is good to travel, but still, I need a smaller one to save my bag space. "AHA-BHA-PHA 30 Days Miracle Toner" comes with a watery texture; it smells so minty.

Ingredients

This product has five main ingredients: AHA, BHA, PHA, Niacinamide, and Tea Tree.

AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid):

  1. It exfoliates skin and provides anti-aging benefits.
  2. It helps reduce dullness in normal skin, but it might irritate dry skin after a few weeks.
  3. Dry skin types should use moisturizing exfoliants like Hyaluronic acid and Jojoba beads.
  4. Use less frequently on dry skin: about once to twice a week.

BHA (beta-hydroxy acid):

  1. It acts as an antioxidant with anti-aging benefits.
  2. It cleans pores, controls oil, and fights blackheads.
  3. Since it can control sebum, it is good for oily skin.
  4. Yet, we do not need to overuse it on oily skin to avoid irritation or increased oil production.

PHA (Polyhydroxy Acid):

  1. It has similar benefits as AHA, but it comes with less irritation.
  2. It helps preserve skin collagen and doesn’t increase sun sensitivity.

Niacinamide 2%: It is commonly found in acne treatment products to minimize pores, improve skin texture, enhance skin barrier, moisturize, reduce redness, and have anti-aging properties.

Real Theatre, 10,000 ppm: It helps with acne and acts as an antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory agent.

Personal Experience

As mentioned, I started using this toner for my acne problem. I believe in the power of chemical exfoliants for acne. I wish I had clear skin without any acne and bumps after 30 days.

It might sound surprising because my acne burst out pus and blood when I used it for the very first time. There was a large pimple on my chin that burst with a bit of cotton pad pressure, which never happened with other exfoliating toners. While it sounds alarming, I found it satisfying as it sped up the healing process.

I use this toner by following the instructions: either with a cotton pad or directly on my hands. For an instant result, I feel my skin a bit sticky and minty.

My goal to have clearer skin after 30 days actually came true. Moreover, I feel my skin felt more moisturized and calmer, with no more clogged pores. Yet, I have not yet seen the brightening effect on my skin within that very short time. However, the toner sometimes caused peeling and redness around my nose, which was temporary. I didn’t notice any anti-aging benefits, but my skin remained supple and smooth. So, after a year of use, my oily skin tolerates this toner well, and it helps control oil production.
